Hawcroft Gundogs is a family run Gundog Training Kennels situated near Lichfield, South Staffordshire, offering a wide range of services ranging from one to one tuition, puppy lessons, residential training, game training days through to supplying either puppies, part or fully trained gundogs.

Simon has been handling dogs for over 30 years and has a wide range of experience of most gundog breeds including Spaniels, Retrievers, HPR`s, Pointers and Setters, many of which he has trained and worked successfully both professionally and during his time as Gamekeeper and Falconer.

We specialise in working Cocker Spaniels and have bred and trained both Field Trial Champions and Winners. Simon, who is a Kennel Club A Panel Judge for spaniels, has successfully trialed Cockers, having won the 2007 Cocker Championship with FTCH Timsgarry Barlow and then again in 2008 with Barlows half brother FTCH Timsgarry Valtos.

We have now produced 5 consecutive generations of FTCHs from our line. Simon has also made up 10 Field Trial Champions and many other Novice and Open stake winners including English Springer Spaniels and been selected to represented England on 7 occasions.

We offer an individual service but can also cater for group or club training on request. We also offer training and tuition for dogs for all types Falconry.

Our facilities include secure training areas, rabbit and pheasant pens, retrieving lanes, fences and water, woodland to moorland, indoor kenneling, having full insulation, Altro flooring ,hygienic wall cladding, double glazing and heating when necessary. .

We produce a small number of puppies each year, some of which are occasionally for sale, please see our dogs for sale page for any currently on offer. We can also locate dogs for our clients should we not have any to offer at the time.
